I am really in love with this dress by Karyn of Make Something. Love. Love. Love. The style, the fabric, and those fun pockets? So perfect. Me want.

Cloistered on Sunday.

Sunday was the textbook definition of a perfect spring day. I spent it with three close friends I've known since college (AKA a very long time ago). We went to the Cloisters Museum and Gardens located in Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan. The Cloisters is a part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The building itself is part of their collection and houses an incredible collection of statuary, architectural details, tapestries, icons, and other religious works of art. As if that weren't enough, the building has incredible views of the Hudson River, the GWB (or George Washington Bridge), and the Palisades. The icing on the cake are the gorgeous gardens that surround the museum. We really couldn't have asked for a better day, and topped it all off with a relaxed dinner at my friend's house on Sylvan Terrace, a cobblestone-paved block of old row houses in Washington Heights. Great friends, great art, great food; all in all a great day.

Doing what they love.

Watching this brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. How lucky these men are to make a living doing what they love.

Just a few photos of some new items I'm working on.

I just realized that my arm looks pretty cadaverous here.
